How to Export from StoryGraph

Export your StoryGraph reading data — including your TBR, completed reads, and custom shelves — as a CSV file for FrugalHunt to search.

1

Go to StoryGraph Settings

Navigate to TheStoryGraph.com and log in. Click on your profile icon and select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

2

Find the Export Option

In Settings, look for the "Import/Export" or "Data Export" section. StoryGraph keeps this under Account settings.

3

Request Your Export

Click "Export Library" or "Request Export". StoryGraph will prepare your data. You may receive an email when it's ready, or it may download directly.

4

Upload to FrugalHunt

Once you have the CSV file, head to FrugalHunt's tool page, use the CSV Upload tab, and drop your file. The parser auto-detects StoryGraph's column format.

💡 Tips

  • • StoryGraph exports may use slightly different column names than Goodreads — FrugalHunt handles both
  • • Include your ratings and dates for a complete picture
  • • StoryGraph has a Goodreads import feature too, so you can consolidate your data
  • • Export format may change — check StoryGraph's help docs if the option isn't visible
