How to Export from Goodreads

Export your entire Goodreads library — including ratings, shelves, and review data — as a CSV file that FrugalHunt can instantly search for deals.

Go to Goodreads Import/Export

Visit goodreads.com/review/import and log in to your account. You can also find this under My Books → Import/Export in the sidebar.

Export Your Library

Click the "Export Library" button. Goodreads will prepare a CSV file of your entire bookshelf. This may take a minute if you have many books.

Download the CSV File

Once ready, click "Download your export" to save the CSV file to your computer. The file is usually named "goodreads_library_export.csv".

Open in FrugalHunt

Go to the FrugalHunt tool page, select the CSV Upload tab, and drop your file. FrugalHunt will automatically detect the Goodreads columns.

Browse Deals

FrugalHunt will display all your books with links to the cheapest used copies across eBay, AbeBooks, ThriftBooks, and more. Click any seller to find the best deal.

  • • Goodreads limits exports to your entire library — you can't export just one shelf
  • • The export includes ISBN, which helps FrugalHunt find exact matches
  • • If you have duplicate editions, FrugalHunt searches by title + author
  • • You can re-export anytime to get your latest reading data
